AI Ethics & Safety
Last updated: June 30, 2026
GlobalInsight develops and deploys AI systems to promote safety, transparency, fairness, accountability, and user empowerment. These policies apply to the Global Demand Loop℠ Service and its AI-generated outputs ("AI Outputs").
AI Ethics Charter
Human-centric design. AI should augment human intelligence, not replace it. We design systems to support informed — not automated — decision-making. Users should critically evaluate outputs, apply domain knowledge and context, and exercise judgment.
Safety & risk mitigation. AI systems can produce errors, inaccuracies, bias, or harmful content. We implement reasonable safeguards, monitor and mitigate risks, and respond to user reports. Users are responsible for using outputs safely and lawfully.
Transparency. We communicate clearly about when AI is used, the limitations of outputs, the provenance of data, and the constraints of third-party sources. We do not intentionally obscure the role of automated systems.
Fairness & bias mitigation. Models may reflect bias in source data. We aim to reduce harmful bias, audit systems where feasible, and improve methodologies over time. We do not knowingly generate discriminatory, defamatory, or malicious content.
Data privacy & security. We protect personal data, minimize collection, and secure systems against misuse. We never sell personally identifiable data.
Accountability & governance. We accept responsibility for our policies, controls, incident response, and continuous improvement; users remain responsible for how outputs are applied. This Charter is reviewed periodically.
AI Safety & Responsible Use Policy
Nature of AI Outputs. AI Outputs are generated programmatically and may include errors, incomplete or outdated information, hallucinations, or biased/sensitive content. They are not guaranteed correct and should not be assumed accurate without human verification.
No professional or regulated advice. AI Outputs are not a substitute for professional judgment and are not legal, financial/investment, medical, safety-critical, or compliance advice. Users are solely responsible for evaluating outputs before reliance.
Human oversight. Verify critical content, evaluate appropriateness, cross-check facts, and apply judgment — with heightened oversight in sensitive contexts.
Sources of data. We may process data from public sources, licensed third parties, and user-provided content; we do not control the accuracy, availability, legality, or bias of external sources.
User responsibilities. You must not use AI Outputs to violate laws; harm individuals or groups; generate misinformation or disinformation; automate harassment; create deepfakes or impersonation; or make high-risk decisions without review.
Prohibited high-risk applications. We do not support use for safety-critical systems (emergency response, infrastructure control), medical diagnostics/treatment, binding legal advice/litigation strategy, securities trading/investment, government compliance/adjudication, biometric identification/surveillance, or autonomous/weaponized physical control systems.
Reporting issues. Report harmful content, incorrect outputs, bias, or safety concerns to admin@globalinsight.ai with the subject "AI Safety Issue." We may investigate, respond, and improve systems where possible.
Continuous improvement & updates. AI safety is an evolving discipline. We monitor risks, improve safeguards, and update these policies periodically; material changes are posted, and continued use signifies acceptance.
